Reservoir Bathymetry and Sedimentation Survey
Reservoir depth sounding to establish current storage capacity and the rate of sedimentation against the original design condition.
Reservoir storage shrinks over time through sedimentation, and the extent of that loss can only be established by periodic measurement. This study compared current conditions against design data to estimate the annual deposition rate.
The results informed the operator's dredging plan and adjustments to dry season operating patterns.
